Background and experience.

I’m an Aerospace Engineering PhD student at the University of Arizona. I study spacecraft relative motion, formation planning, and inspection missions.

RESEARCH BACKGROUND

What I work on.

In the ASVA Lab with Dr. Eric Butcher, I develop and study methods for planning coordinated spacecraft trajectories. My master’s thesis examined how spacecraft on relative orbits and spacecraft hovering near a tumbling target can share inspection tasks. I’m also interested in trajectory design for cislunar missions.

I completed my MS in Aerospace Engineering in August 2026 and am continuing the same research direction in my PhD. In summer 2026, I was a Starling Swarm CubeSat Systems Engineering Support Intern at NASA Ames Research Center. Before Arizona, I earned a first-class BEng in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Brighton.
